Ans. Experience of Anita:
She bought a LG refrigerator few years back. It stopped working properly and therefore made a
complaint to the company. They sent an engineer. He changed the defected part costing `5000
and that new part has a guarantee of 6 months. Anita took the bill of the new part installed.
After 2 days refrigerator again stopped working properly. She made a complaint but this time
engineer said refrigerator cannot be repaired. When she asked him why did he change the part,
he did not have any answer. Now, they are not ready to return `5000 and take that new part
back. She has filed a case 2 years back in consumer court, which is still going on.

cash memo in order to get more discount. But dealer gave him the warranty of 6 months for

to the dealer but he refused to entertain his complaint. Now, Aniket does not have bill, so he
cannot file complaint against the cheating done by dealer.

He went to Mussorrie for holidays in summer vacations. He bought a Bisleri water bottle from
a shopkeeper. He asked for `40. Mohan checked for the price on the bottle and MRP was
